Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add tomatoes to the pan and sauté until tomatoes are cooked down (approx. 5-7 minutes).
Once tomatoes are cooked, add marinara to the pan and stir to combine. Heat for an additional 2 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.**
Serve over pasta or store in the fridge for later use.
Notes
*Use organic marinara sauce for best results.**I did not include salt or pepper as an ingredient because both of these should be covered by your pre-bought jar of marinara sauce. Add if needed, but taste the sauce before doing so. You can also add additional Italian seasoning at this time if needed.
